On idyllic sunny days, nothing beats a hot air balloon flight above the sacred Cedar forest, sealed with a champagne toast!
Another extreme and exhilarating sport is paragliding. Paragliding caught up very quickly in Lebanon. The Cedars was chosen as the most panoramic and safest practice spot, and the sport is available throughout the year, when wind speeds and climatic conditions permit.
From April till November, shooting, hiking, overnight camps, caving, horse riding, all terrain vehicles (ATV or QUADS) and off roads motorbikes become a sought after activity in the Cedars, as it offers vast terrains and organized overnight rides on the highest peaks in the Middle East.
